About Abode

Abode of Yogi is an independent hospitality practice founded by Chef Pâtissier Yogesh Dutt.

It began with a simple observation.

Hospitality is often described through cuisine, service or design. Yet the experiences people remember are rarely defined by any one of those things alone. They are shaped by judgement, atmosphere, craftsmanship and the countless decisions that remain almost invisible to the guest.

Those experiences became the foundation of Abode.

Over the course of an international career, Yogesh has worked across luxury hotels, Michelin Key properties, a Michelin-starred restaurant and Relais & Châteaux houses throughout Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia. Each offered a different expression of hospitality, yet all shared the same understanding: excellence is never accidental. It is created through consistency, precision and genuine care.

Pâtisserie is where the work began and where it continues to evolve. The discipline of pastry—its pursuit of balance, restraint and technical precision—naturally extends into hospitality itself, shaping the way experiences are designed, teams are developed and places are remembered.

Today, Abode of Yogi brings together four interconnected areas of practice.

Abode Pâtisserie explores contemporary pastry through craftsmanship, technique and creative development.

Abode Advisory works with hotels, restaurants and hospitality organisations on culinary direction, guest experience, operational thinking and concept development.

Abode Research develops independent frameworks, publications and long-form research examining the philosophy, culture and practice of hospitality.

Abode Journal is an editorial collection of essays and observations on hospitality, leadership, craftsmanship and the evolving culture of luxury.
